About Carsten Jan Weichelt
I have been observing for as long as I can remember. Writing was simply the logical consequence. In the past, it was stories. Today, it is text that structures complex systems, dissects modern society, and reaches people on a deeper level—without getting lost in the daily autopilot.
After studying Creative Writing & Copywriting at SRH University Berlin, I spent years working in the cultural and digital sectors. I have developed content strategies, created cross-media concepts, and worked as an editor, podcaster, and copywriter for projects such as YourArtBeat, LAUTGUT, and Wake Word Studios. As part of the NDI Berlin expert network, I also share my knowledge in AI training and prompt writing, helping teams master the art of intelligent language structuring.
I know how to generate attention in the digital world. I know how to hold it. But through my work in the tech and "New Work" bubble, I know one thing above all: when to say less in order to achieve more.
Why "Kuh Alma" (Alma the Cow) exists
"Kuh Alma" is not just a gag. It is a literary mental model. A character who observes with a stoic gaze what modern work culture does to our professional identity. It explores the reality of remote work, the illusion of freedom, artificial stress, societal conformity, and the rampant pressure for self-optimization. Alma allows me to voice truths that rarely appear on polished PowerPoint slides.
This project is social satire—but it is also tangible proof of timeless content substance:
A razor-sharp, clear focus
A distinct, recognizable voice.
Thematic and philosophical consistency.
A long-term, profound body of work
Anyone who wants to understand how I think as an author and how I perceive the world should read Alma.
Literary precision with a stance
As an author, I do not write just to produce digital text. I write to shape perception. My focus lies on clear language, functional psychological structure, and strategic content with real character. I utilize state-of-the-art, AI-supported content strategies and technology as tools – but I never hide my authorial voice behind them.
What drives me
I do not believe in empty buzzwords. I believe in uncompromising precision. I do not believe in "loud." I believe in "clear." And I am firmly convinced that good writing does not need to scream to leave a lasting impact on the system.
